TABA: The Applied Biostatistics Association.

Our goal is to provide an opportunity for professional development, as well as a venue where students and practicing statisticians can meet, share questions, and learn from one another. To this end TABA has been organizing seminars for the applied biostatistics community of Toronto for over 25 years (formerly it was known as the Toronto Area Biostatistics Association).

Our seminars focus on topics of interest to applied biostatisticians. Each seminar is followed by a catered dinner, which provides an opportunity for networking. The seminar is free. Attendees who stay for dinner are charged a nominal amount for the the meal.

We usually meet at either Princess Margaret Hospital or York University.
